So I decided to speed this up a bit because there is so much stuff happening that I want to talk about. Funny how that happens…so here is the rest of the list! #5-13

#5 – Crazy Celebrities to Not be so Crazy in 2013

Its quite exhausting to keep up with some of the media disasters of 2012.  Quite honestly its not really fun anymore when you present yourself as a person that is beyond help.  So in 2013 I am hope that the crazy celebs who seems to do everything in their power to be the butt of the media to come to Jesus, find their chi or just get some sense knocked into them so that can not be in a new negative headline every other day.  Its clear you don’t want anyone’s expertise or help so just do us all a favor and stay in the house until you decide to get help.  I wish you all the very best in 2013 but I am tied of reading about you and your crazy ways.  Please be good in 2013!

#6 – The Next Big Social Media Hit

This year I am rapt with anticipation for the next social media sensation.  2012 was the year of Instagram and I enjoyed it while it lasted.  But now I am ready for the next big thing.  What will be the cool app that we can not live without and will make companies give raises to their social media managers because they figured out how to use it.  I personally will spend the better part of the year thinking of the next big thing myself so that I can become independently wealthy and live on a beach in the winter months.

I think Pinterest could potentially be a front-runner for world domination this year because I don’t think they have peaked yet. Right now I am obsessed with pinning any and everything and believe companies will figure out how to capitalize on this.  Or maybe we will see Twitter take it to the next level now that they are no longer accepting Instagrams.  Also with gifs making a comeback (from the 80s no less) Tumblr could be the next social media  sensation to break through and become legendary.  Also this whole second screen technology is just waiting to break through and I think whoever figures this out will be a richer company for getting it right.  Whatever it will be I am sure it will be something we all can’t live without and wondered how we went this long without having it in our lives until now.

#7 For Celebrities/People not to air all of their business on social media.

I know this is probably not going to happen and we have already had open letters, and twitter rants to start off the year I am hoping people will at least calm it down a bit!  I need people to think before they tweet… It’s a simple premise I hope people will adopt.

#8 Public figures/People not apologizing/making statements over social media

Does it bother anyone else when they hear a news report and the reporter says such and such confirmed on Facebook?  I find that highly obnoxious for several reasons.  But the main reason is that how can you really trust Facebook and Twitter posts when people are always retracting what was said on them.  If you must confirm something get out your smart phone and make a video.  I want to see your lips moving or something so that I know it’s true… Come on people, Twitter cannot solve everything!

#9 Not Making Bold Statements to the Press/Media  

This is kind of like #8 but I think this just needs to be said that if you are a public figure your should think before you speak, and do, and type in 140 characters.  I know we looove the spontaneity of some of our celebs but often times we cringe when they go to far.  So this year I am hoping folks learn to find a good balance of when sharing is too much and not enough.  (P.S. This is also directed at the over-sharers on your personal friends like on Facebook and Twitter etc.  We don’t need to know everything about you..  If you tell us all of it we won’t have anything to talk about in person.  But maybe that is the point….hummmmmm.)

#10  The Next big Reality TV hit.

Sometimes I feel like we have seen it all.  And while housewives, sports wives, and other shows like this are a main staple in the television space along with the likes of following celebs, following has been celebs and celeb’s who are famous because they have a reality show I am kind of wondering what the next big genre will be in reality TV to hit the scene.  I hope that 2013 will give us something completely wonderfully different and make us wonder where it has been all of our lives!

#11 H&M US E-Commerce Site and Every other one of my favorite stores

OK this one is reaching but follow me here.  For the last 2 years I have been patiently waiting for the US H&M eCommerce site to open.  I am not unlike other fashion girls who want their H&M on demand! And above all I think it is necessary for H&M have an online shopping presence to continue to compete with other major fashion brands.  Having a robust online site that actually allows customers to buy clothes seems like a no brainier. I hope other stores that are popping up in this country will go ahead and come ready with a great website where customers can buy clothes. So here is my plea that I hope this happens, even though my pocketbook is against it.

#12 For Bethenny Frankel to bounce back better than ever.

Everyone knows that I am kind of in love with Ms. Frankel.  And I was sad last year to hear about her marriage possibly ending (oh the pitfalls of reality TV and relationships) but I hope that she has her best year yet and get’s to keep the money that she earned.  I am interested to follow how she handles everything because she has always been so open to the media about her life so I wonder if she will change her ways or forge ahead.  Overall I wish her the best of luck and hopes she continues to kick butt.

#13 For 2013 to be Fabulous

Ok coming up with this list was little ambitious on my part.  I really had to think long and hard to do this but I think this is my favorite one.  I just want 2013 to be uber cool and chic and full of amazing things for myself and for you.  Now that the month is halfway done, we can all stop saying happy new year and start living in the NEW YEAR. So one last time I hope you have a great new year and its full of HITS, Not MISSES but if you need to you will find the FIXES.
